What we collect
Snoop collects browsing activity data from tastemakers who have explicitly opted in by installing our Chrome extension or connecting their platform accounts. We collect page URLs, titles, time spent, and scroll depth.
What we never collect
- Pages with login forms, password fields, or authentication flows
- Direct messages on any platform (Twitter DMs, Instagram Direct, etc.)
- Email content (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
- Banking, financial, or payment pages
- Healthcare and medical information
- Settings, account management, and admin pages
- Any domain on the user's blocklist (65+ domains blocked by default)
Privacy controls
Tastemakers have full control over their data. They can hide individual content items from their digests, add domains to their blocklist, pause tracking at any time, and delete their account and all associated data.
AI processing
Content is processed by Claude (Anthropic) to generate summaries and digests. We send page titles, URLs, and article text to Claude for this purpose. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Data storage
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, and Supabase for authentication and storage. Each has their own privacy policy.
